Application rates:

Roses and perennials: mix half to one cup per hole at planting. Feed established plants a quarter to half cup per plant once monthly during the growing season.

Vegetable gardens and flower beds: apply 2.5 to 5 lbs per 100 square feet and mix into the top 3 inches of soil.

Containers and houseplants: add 2 tablespoons per gallon of soil and mix thoroughly.
